Acceptable use policy
WeTryOn · Last updated 13 October 2026 · Terms of service
WeTryOn shows a shopper wearing a product, in a live AI-generated video, so they can see how it looks on them before they buy. This policy sets out what the service may be used for and what it must never be used for. It applies to every store owner who installs or embeds WeTryOn and to every shopper who uses it, and it forms part of our terms of service.
The short version. Use WeTryOn to let shoppers see clothing, shoes and accessories on themselves. Never use it to create sexual, adult or NSFW content, to change anyone's face or identity, or on anyone who has not agreed to it.
1. What the service is for
WeTryOn is for one purpose: letting a person preview a wearable product from a store's catalogue on themselves, using their own camera, with their agreement. Products the service is built for are clothing, footwear, hats, glasses, watches, bags and jewellery that are worn over everyday clothing.
2. Sexual, adult and NSFW content is prohibited
You may not use WeTryOn to create, request or attempt to create content that is sexual, sexually suggestive, pornographic, erotic, fetish-oriented or otherwise not safe for work. This includes, without limitation:
- nudity or partial nudity, real or generated;
- try-ons of lingerie, underwear, intimate apparel or swimwear — these product types are not supported and must not be enabled for try-on;
- product descriptions, wording or images written or chosen to produce sexual or revealing results;
- any sexual or sexualised content involving a minor, which we report to the relevant authorities.
3. Other prohibited uses
- Changing who someone is. Face swapping, deepfakes, altering a person's face, body, age, skin tone or identity, or making a person appear to be someone else. WeTryOn changes what a person is wearing, nothing else.
- Use without consent. Pointing the camera at anyone who has not read the on-screen notice and agreed to it, or at anyone without their knowledge. Store owners must not hide, shorten or alter that notice.
- Children. The service is not intended for children. Do not use it on a child.
- Harmful or illegal content. Hateful, harassing, violent, extremist or illegal imagery; products that are illegal to sell; content that infringes someone else's trademark, copyright or other rights.
- Misleading use. Presenting a try-on as a photograph of a real outcome, or as telling anyone how something will fit or which size to buy. Every try-on is labelled as AI-generated, and that label must not be removed or covered.
- Abuse of the service. Scraping, reverse engineering, getting around limits or moderation, reselling access, or using the service to train other AI models.
4. How we enforce it
On stores that use the WeTryOn website script, the text that describes the product is checked by an automated moderation service before any try-on is generated, and a try-on that fails the check is not started. On every store, our AI provider applies its own moderation to what it generates. We may also review how the service is used.
If we believe this policy has been broken we may block a product, pause or suspend an account, or end it, with or without notice, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. Fees already paid for a period in which the policy was broken are not refunded.
5. Reporting a problem
If you see WeTryOn being used in a way this policy forbids, email support@wetryon.ai. We read every report.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top. WeTryOn is operated by XISLABS Pvt Ltd.
