Webflow: in development

Live virtual try-on for Webflow: coming soon

Webflow brands design their product pages by hand, and the try-on button should fit that design rather than fight it. A drop-in script is in development; today, WeTryOn runs on Shopify only.

Can you use it on Webflow today?

Not yet. WeTryOn runs on Shopify today. A drop-in script for Webflow is in development, with no date set. Join the list and we'll email you when it's ready.

How it will work on Webflow

1. Paste one script

The plan is a single script tag added once in your site's custom code settings.

2. Mark the button and the image

Add an element to your Ecommerce product template or CMS template and tag it with a custom attribute; the script turns it into the Try it on button, styled by you in the Designer.

3. Publish

Every product page built from that template gets a try-on, using the product image the template already shows.

What to know about Webflow

Your design stays yours

Because you build the button in the Designer and only tag it, it keeps your typography, colours and interactions. The script adds the behaviour, not the look.

Webflow Ecommerce and CMS collections

The plan covers Webflow Ecommerce product templates and ordinary CMS collection templates, so a lookbook built from a CMS collection can use it as well as a shop.

Custom code and your Webflow plan

Webflow only allows custom code on some plans. Check that yours lets you add code to the site's settings before you plan around it.

Virtual try-on on Webflow: questions

When will WeTryOn be available on Webflow?

We haven't set a date. We'd rather tell you when it works than promise a date we might miss. Join the list and we'll email you once.

Will it work on Webflow's free plan?

Probably not: the Webflow version is planned as a script in your custom code settings, which Webflow limits by plan. Check your site plan's custom code allowance.

Can I style the try-on button in the Designer?

That is the plan: you build the button as a normal element and tag it with a custom attribute, so it looks exactly as you design it.

Does it need Webflow Ecommerce?

No. It is planned for CMS collection pages too, so a catalogue or lookbook without a cart can use it.
