Live virtual try-on for Squarespace
Squarespace brands can add a Try it on button to their product pages and let shoppers see a piece on themselves before they buy. It goes in through Squarespace's Code Injection.
How to add WeTryOn on Squarespace
1. Sign up
Start the free trial at app.wetryon.ai and add your Squarespace domain.
2. Use Code Injection
Open Settings, then Developer tools, then Code injection. Paste the line into the Footer box and save.
3. Place the button
Open a product page with the placement tool and click where the button should sit, usually under Add to cart.
What to know on Squarespace
Which plan you need
Squarespace offers Code Injection on its Business plan and above. On a plan without it, there is nowhere to add the line.
Fitting your template
Squarespace templates each lay out product pages their own way. The placement tool works on your actual page, so the button sits where it looks right in yours, and you can match its colours to your brand in the dashboard.
Which products get it
WeTryOn reads each product page's details and shows the button on wearable items only. Anything unclear waits for you on the dashboard's Products page.
What shoppers can try on
Virtual try-on on Squarespace: questions
Which Squarespace plan do I need?
Business or higher, because those include Code Injection.
Will it change my Squarespace design?
Only by adding the button where you place it. You can match its colours and shape to your site in the dashboard.
Does it work on Squarespace's newer and older templates?
Yes. It reads the page as published, and the placement tool lets you choose the spot on whichever template you use.
